“Traiettorie Liquide” (Italian for “Liquid Trajectories“) is an environmental sustainability project, launched in 2017, which aims to raise public awareness of issues related to environmental protection, from melting glaciers to water pollution in all its forms, stressing the importance of using natural and sustainable resources in pursuit of decarbonising consumption.
“Traiettorie Liquide” was conceived and created by Giulia and Daniela Mancini for Federica Brignone, customised around her passions and the respect she has had for the environment since childhood. They are joined by the valuable contribution of photographer Giuseppe La Spada, one of the most interesting and original visual artists on the international scene, who for some years has been carrying out artistic research on the theme of water.
“In each of us, there is a small part of the primordial ocean, and that is why we are called to preserve it. It is no longer a far-away problem; it is a fundamental and urgent matter of our survival. It is our mission to make as many people aware as possible.”
#traiettorieliquide aims to raise public awareness of environmental issues, through the appeal and media exposure of the champion and her commitment to spreading the message.
For #traiettorieliquide, environmental education is an important tool to help citizens and communities take more responsibility and pay more attention to environmental issues and good management of the territory.
The UN’s 2030 Agenda defines 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030, divided into 169 targets that represent a guide for Italy and the whole world towards ecological transition. Implementing the 2030 Agenda requires the extensive involvement of all members of society, from private companies to the public sector, from civil society to media and cultural professionals. The #traiettorieliquide project’s commitment specifically
identifies 4 of these goals, and works towards achieving them.
