First Trajectory - The Sea
All the waterways lead to the sea, where everything that the water has collected and transported on its way flows into the sea.
In the summer of 2017, Federica dived into the Sicilian waters of Lipari in race gear (with skis, helmet, boots and poles) to share with us, through the beautiful and evocative photos of Giuseppe La Spada, her commitment and her bond with the sea.
Federica’s boundless love for the sea is, however, threatened by the reckless actions of humans. The latter, with the introduction of waste and toxic substances, the exploitation of biological resources (intensive fishing), the modification of the marine environment with jetties and ports and the introduction of alien species, is irreparably altering the marine ecosystem, threatening its stability and prolificacy.
Behind the scenes of Trajectory 1
“The photoshoot, which took place underwater in the Aeolian Islands, was a unique experience. With boots and skis, you can get to the bottom in no time. I had a team of divers who helped me get back to the surface. Skiing in the great blue was completely magical.”

Plastic pollution of the oceans is endangering the life of marine fauna and flora.
Third trajectory
The lake is a slow-motion ecosystem, where water is exchanged slowly and pollution and waste accumulate, compromising it.
Fourth trajectory
Melting glaciers lead to rising sea levels and a dramatic reduction of water reserves.
